How it works
The converter renders every page of your PDF as a high-resolution image using Mozilla's PDF.js, then assembles those images into a standard Word document. Because each page is captured as a full image, the output preserves the exact visual appearance of the original — fonts, colours, images, tables, and layout all look the same.
Limitations
- Text in the output is part of the page image, so it cannot be directly edited in Word. You can add text above or below the images.
- The output file will be larger than the original PDF because each page is stored as a high-resolution image.
- Very large PDFs (100+ pages) may take a minute to process depending on your device.
Common questions
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs in your browser. The file never leaves your device.
Why are the pages images instead of editable text?
Preserving the exact layout of a PDF — with all its fonts, spacing, and graphics — is only reliably possible by capturing the rendered page. Extracting raw text loses formatting, images, and table structure.
Does this work offline?
Yes. Once the page has loaded, disconnect from the internet and it still works.
